DynActive™ Shifting
DynActive™ Shifting is a continuously-variable method of shift scheduling. Instead of using a shift point table with defined points, DynActive™ Shifting chooses the most efficient shift points based on the current environmental and vehicle conditions.
DynActive™ Shifting is the cornerstone of FuelSense 2.0, a set of Allison Transmission software features that deliver significant fuel savings across all vocations.
Neutral at Stop
Neutral at Stop is a feature that reduces or eliminates the load on the engine while the vehicle is stopped, reducing fuel usage and emissions.
- Standard allows transmission shifts to a partial neutral condition as the vehicle comes to a stop with service brakes engaged.
- Premium provides full neutral as the vehicle comes to a stop with service brakes engaged.
- Coast Mode is only available with Premium and provides early activation at low speeds when vehicle is braking to a stop.
Acceleration Rate Management
Acceleration Rate Management is an engine management function that can help prevent aggressive driving practices by automatically controlling engine torque and limiting the vehicle acceleration to a calibrated rate. Five levels of control are offered to provide more precision by limiting vehicle acceleration to a customized rate.
