Berk Gönenç Named Sales Director, Türkiye, Middle East and Commonwealth of Independent States at Allison Transmission

TÜRKİYE, October 09, 2024 – Allison Transmission is pleased to announce the appointment of Berk Gönenç as Sales Director, Türkiye, Middle East and Commonwealth of Independent States at Allison Transmission. Gönenç, a graduate of Istanbul Technical University’s Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, completed his Master's degree in Materials Science and Nanotechnology Engineering in Milan, Italy. Gönenç began his career in Milan, Italy as a Project Engineer in alternative energy storage systems. He has successfully completed various roles in the sales and marketing departments at Pirelli Tires in Türkiye. Gönenç joined the Allison Transmission team in Türkiye in 2019.

While managing Allison's sales activities in Türkiye, Gönenç developed new projects and successfully executed collaborative efforts with the Allison team, vehicle manufacturers, commercial vehicle users and distributors. In recognition of his achievements, Gönenç was appointed as the Sales Director for Türkiye, the Middle East and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). In this new position, Gönenç will lead regional sales teams in developing and implementing market-based sales strategies in those regions. He will also be responsible for enhancing customer relationships and developing the company's growth programs.
