Allison Transmission, the Automatic Transmission of Choice for Agricultural Services, Will Be Present at ExpoAgro 2022

Allison will showcase its initiatives in the South American agricultural sector at ExpoAgro

BUENOS AIRES, March 2022 - Allison Transmission is pleased to announce its presence at the ExpoAgro trade fair, the largest agribusiness exhibition in Argentina, at the Autodromo de San Nicolás RN9 from March 8 to 11, where the company will receive visitors at booth N° 1366 and share information on its new initiatives in the agriculture sector.

A majority of the locally manufactured, self-propelled sprayer segment are equipped with Allison’s 2500 Series™ fully automatic transmissions due to the unrivaled quality, reliability and durability Allison transmissions offer for agriculture applications.

“We are very pleased to be present at ExpoAgro 2022, one of the most important agricultural exhibitions. This exhibition allows agricultural producers to find all the products and services needed for their daily work in the field," said Leonardo Molina, Operations Manager for the Southern Cone at Allison Transmission.

The unique challenges in the agriculture industry, including difficult terrain, special technology and a need for innovation and flexibility require a transmission built for these environments and designed for maximum performance.

“Allison fully automatic transmissions are unique in the market, they adjust depending on weight, speed and terrain,” said Molina. “When vehicles are carrying lighter loads, Allison transmissions shift at lower engine speeds to consume less fuel. When carrying heavy loads or climbing a grade, they upshift at higher speeds for greater acceleration and power.”

In addition to information on their 2000 Series™, 3000 Series™ and 4000 Series™ transmissions, Allison will present information on the Allison HUB™. The Allison HUB is a free, online resource that provides a centralized location for access to Allison technical information.
