Allison has a long history of partnering with the U.S. Department of Defense to develop propulsion solutions that deliver in the toughest conditions. After initially delivering the first X200™ units in 1960, Allison relaunched production of the transmission in 2020 to meet the U.S. Army’s combat readiness requirements.
Rugged, Fully Automatic Design
The transmission accommodates engine ratings up to 400 hp (298 kW). It offers four forward and two reverse ranges and full-power hydrostatic steering for smooth, efficient steering and control. The X200™ is equipped with electronic controls for use with modern engines and a torque converter with an automatic lock-up clutch for smooth, efficient starts and stops.
