Ride + Drive

The Allison Transmission Ride and Drive demonstration track puts customers in the driver’s seat. The asphalt road area of the track tests the Allison-equipped vehicles’ smooth acceleration, expert maneuverability and higher average speed. The track’s off-road maneuvering area highlights how our propulsion solutions perform in sand, mud, grass and a gravel pit. When visitors drive the vehicle over three hills in a row and stop at the top, they will experience a reliable ride with virtually no rollback.

At the ACE Center, customers can test drive vehicles equipped with Allison 2000 Series™, 3000 Series™, 4000 Series™ and 9-Speed transmissions. From riding a school bus to driving a construction tipper, the ACE Center fleet showcases a variety of world-class vehicles.

Vehicle Electrification + Environmental Test Center

Allison Transmission’s Vehicle Electrification + Environmental Test Center (VE+ET) provides comprehensive testing services for vehicle electrification in a controlled environment that simulates a variety of battery and environmental conditions. This premier facility enhances efficiency by cutting out the need for unpredictable and costly field tests. One of only a few of its kind in the United States, the VE+ET is a secure and confidential testing environment, ensuring that customer data and intellectual properties are protected.

The VE+ET Center is designed to serve both Allison’s internal needs and external clients.  Customers have the flexibility to engage directly with the testing process by preparing their vehicles and being present during tests, although the driving is handled by the center's technicians. The center is also equipped with live collaboration tools that enable remote participation in testing. While the center primarily focuses on vehicle testing, its capabilities are also suitable for testing non-vehicle products, making it a versatile option for a variety of testing requirements.
