Product training at Allison Transmission combines a variety of proven delivery methods to help ensure maximum learning potential for the service professional. All training is offered through Allison eLEARN™, our Learning Management System (LMS). Available delivery types include:

 

Web Based Training (WBT)

Web Based Training (WBT) modules currently include product familiarization, preventive maintenance and basic diagnostic information for Allison’s most popular on-highway transmissions – the 1000 Series™, 2000 Series™, 3000 Series™ and 4000 Series™ automatic transmissions. Each module typically takes less than one hour to complete and provides information covering fundamental operational theory, maintenance and service procedures. A select number of WBT modules can be accessed through Allison HUB™ free of charge.

Instructor Led Training (ILT)

Allison offers a comprehensive listing of Instructor Led Training (ILT) courses to support our customers, Allison Authorized Distributors and Dealers and other partners. Each ILT course typically lasts two days but may be longer depending on the topic. This delivery method is intended to provide a working knowledge and application of the theory learned in the Web Based Training (WBT) courses.
