Allison Transmission to Showcase Sustainable Propulsion Solutions at Elmia Lastbil 2024

JÖNKÖPING, Sweden, August 2024  Allison Transmission is excited to participate in the upcoming Elmia Lastbil 2024, a premier international trade show for the transport and logistics industry, Aug. 21-24 in Sweden. Allison will showcase its innovative technologies, including fully electric axles, catering to the increasing demand for sustainable transportation. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the company's wide range of propulsion systems and gain insights into how these can be integrated to optimize performance and reduce emissions, including through a mixed-reality (MR) HoloLens headset.

"We look forward to participating in Elmia Lastbil and presenting our latest advancements, especially in electrification. Our ambition is to support the transport sector in transitioning to cleaner and more sustainable solutions without compromising performance or reliability," said Mats Hallgren, Area Sales Manager for Allison Transmission in the Nordic region. "One of our booth’s most popular features is the opportunity to see our systems through a HoloLens, a headset that allows you to see our technology come to life. For example, you can discover how our Allison eGen Power® fully electric axle is constructed and how it operates inside the vehicle."

In addition to product demonstrations, Allison representatives will be available to answer questions, as well as explain the importance of selecting the right propulsion solution for every step of the journey to zero emissions.

At Elmia Lastbil, you can find Allison at booth B05:30 in Hall B.
