東京2023年10月23日—中・大型商用車向けオートマチックトランスミッションの世界最大手メーカー、アリソントランスミッションの日本法人であるアリソンジャパン株式会社(取締役:ブライアン・ジーゼルハート)は、アリソン製6速フルオートマチックトランスミッション、アリソン3500を標準搭載した日野自動車製「レンジャーGK」ミキサーが、一般社団法人神奈川県トラック協会生コン輸送部会(以下、生コン輸送部会)の会員15社のうち、7割を超える11社に採用され、自動車検査登録情報協会からのデータによると、神奈川県全体のミキサー車の登録台数のうち、アリソン製ATを搭載した車両が2021〜2022年の2年連続で約2割に到達し、普及率が高まっていることを公表しました。
レンジャーGKミキサーは、軽量のシャシを採用しているため、高床タイプの大型ミキサー車と比較して1.0トン以上多い生コンを積載でき、輸送効率を向上させることができます。燃料費が高騰している昨今、輸送回数を減らすことで燃料費の削減につながり、加えて二酸化炭素排出の削減にも貢献できます。レンジャーGKには5.1リットルの小排気量エンジンを搭載していますが、アリソンの特許取得済みトルクコンバーターで発進・後進時のトルクを約2倍以上に増幅しているため、坂道での力強い発進はもとより、打ち杭工法の現場でも一気に後退できるため、マニュアル車の操作で難しいクラッチワークが不要で、多くのドライバーに安心して操作していただけます。
生コン輸送部会の担当理事を務める、三共陸上輸送株式会社の代表取締役鈴木雄三氏は、「全保有台数35台のうち、3台がアリソン製AT搭載のミキサー車で、マニュアルトランスミッション搭載のミキサー車と比較して、登坂性能に大きな違いを感じていません。AT搭載車はAMT搭載車と比較して、シフトチェンジが非常にスムーズで、滑らかな走行性能に満足しています。2020年11月にアリソン製AT搭載のGKミキサーを導入してから、輸送効率の高さを実感していますが、加えて、坂道での降坂走行で排気ブレーキをオンにすると、自動的にシフトダウンし減速するため、マニュアル搭載車と遜色ない減速効果を感じています。今年11月にも1台追加導入する予定で、生コン輸送部会の会員各社にもアリソン製AT搭載のGKミキサーが高く評価され導入が広がっているようです」と述べました。
