悉尼,2020 年 3 月 27 日 – 汉森水泥在其运营中新增了20辆配备了艾里逊自动变速箱的日野500系列混凝土搅拌车车队,其主要原因是全自动卡车所具有的安全性和可操控性。
据汉森水泥的全国采购经理Neil McDermott解释,由于技术熟练的驾驶员严重短缺,公司不得不扩大招聘范围,接受只会驾驶自动挡的驾驶员。
McDermott 说:“之所以选择日野系列卡车是因其安装了艾里逊自动变速箱,因为许多驾驶员现在无法驾驶手动汽车,更不用说手动卡车了。”
“多年来,艾里逊自动变速箱一直是本公司大型搅拌车的配备标准。但是在过去,小型搅拌车市场端无法满足所有的小型车都配备自动变速箱,”McDermott 说。
安全性高是汉森选择配备艾里逊自动变速箱的日野系列的另一个原因。 自动装置允许驾驶员全神贯注驾驶卡车,不必专注于换挡,即使在危险环境下也不会分心。
“由于车辆重心高,并且运输途中混凝土不断搅拌的特性,混凝土搅拌车的事故率是任何卡车类型中最高的,”McDermott 如是说。“为保障安全,我们尽量减少驾驶员在卡车行驶中不得不做的任务,例如不必换挡,这意味着他们可以专注于安全驾驶车辆。”

汉森水泥公司的日野小型搅拌车配备了2.6米的搅拌筒,其体积大约是公司大型搅拌车(通常配备7.5米的搅拌筒)的三分之一。
