에이엠특장, 삼능, 동양특장 등 환경차 전문 특장차 업체서 앨리슨 제품 신뢰도 높아
대한민국, 서울, 10월 4일 – 앨리슨 트랜스미션은 지난 2017년부터 국내 환경차 시장에 판매해 온 전자동 변속기의 누적 판매고가 6년만에 1,000대를 돌파했다고 밝혔다.
앨리슨은 지난 2017년 메가트럭 기반 환경차에 2500시리즈TM의 전자동 변속기를 납품한 이래 매년 점진적으로 판매 수량을 늘려왔다.
지난해 준중형 및 중형 환경차 시장에서 앨리슨은 약 25%의 시장점유율을 기록했다. 이는 2021년 대비 6%p 이상 늘어난 성과이다. 앨리슨은 올해 역대 가장 많은 전자동 변속기를 환경차 시장에서 판매할 것으로 기대하고 있다.
환경차 시장에서 앨리슨이 인기인 이유는 전자동 변속기가 갖는 다양한 강점 때문이다. 오토매틱 트럭 운전자들은 기어 및 클러치 조작을 하지 않아도 되기 때문에 피로도를 거의 느끼지 않는다. 여기에, 내구성이 뛰어나 오래 사용할 수 있고, 생산성이 좋아 하루에 쓰레기 수거 작업을 더 많이 할 수 있다. 또, 오토매틱 차량은 정기적인 오일 교환 외 특별한 유지보수 비용이 발생하지 않아 매우 경제적이다.
이러한 이유로 최근 중형 및 준중형 트럭 시장에서 앨리슨 전자동 변속기를 찾는 소비자들이 늘고 있다. 중형 트럭의 대표 모델은 현대자동차의 파비스 280마력으로 앨리슨 2500 모델이 장착돼 있다. 준중형 트럭의 대표 주자는 현대 마이티로 앨리슨 1000 xFETM 모델이 장착돼 있으며, 올해 마이티 전체 중 전자동변속기가 장착된 오토매틱 차량의 비중은 50% 이상이 될 것으로 전망된다.
앨리슨은 에이엠특장, 삼능, 동양특장 등 국내에서 내놓으라는 환경차 전문 특장 업체들과 신뢰속에서 거래를 이어가고 있다.
전라북도 부안군 계화면의 성대용 주무관은 "환경차는 쓰레기를 수거하려면 도심 혹은 농어촌에서 가다-서다를 반복하고, 언덕길을 오르내리거나 좁은 길을 통과해야 한다"라며 "이러한 운행 조건을 고려할 때 전자동 변속기가 장착된 오토매틱 차량을 지자체에서 운영하는 것이 효율적이라고 생각한다"고 말했다.
