Allison Transmission und Anadolu Isuzu haben die neue eGen Power 85S Elektro-Achse in einen vollelektrischen 8-Meter-Midi-Bus integriert.
INDIANAPOLIS, USA, 6. Oktober 2023 – Allison Transmission hat auf der Busworld die neue eGen Power® 85S Elektro-Achse vorgestellt, das jüngste Produkt aus seiner E-Achsen-Familie. Allison freut sich, gemeinsam mit Anadolu Isuzu die eGen Power 85S im vollelektrischen Isuzu Novo VOLT Bus auf der Busworld Europe in Brüssel präsentieren zu können.
„Wir sind stolz auf die Zusammenarbeit mit Allison bei der Integration der eGen Power 85S in den Novo VOLT, einem neuen Bus in unserem Portfolio, der sowohl emissionsfrei als auch leise fährt", sagte Tuğrul Arıkan, General Manager von Anadolu Isuzu. „Wir sind sehr zufrieden mit der Fähigkeit von Allison, uns eine E-Achse zu liefern, die die einzigartigen Anforderungen unserer Midi-Busplattform erfüllt und sich leicht in das vorhandene Fahrgestell integrieren lässt.“
Durch diese Zusammenarbeit von Allison mit Anadolu Isuzu wird zum ersten Mal eine eGen Power E-Achse in einen Midi-Bus integriert. Dies bedeutet eine Erweiterung der E-Achsen- Produktfamilie von Allison um ein zusätzliches Marktsegment. Die eGen Power 85S wurde speziell für Midi-Bus- und Leicht-Lkw-Anwendungen entwickelt, die eine niedrigere zulässige Achslast von 8,5 Tonnen benötigen. Im Vergleich zu den bereits vorhandenen eGen Power Modellen zeichnet sich die neue Elektro-Achse durch eine geringere Spurweite, kleinere Achsschenkel und ein neues, gestanztes Achsgehäuse aus.
