Doing Business with Allison

Allison Transmission produces medium- and heavy-duty automatic transmissions for truck, bus, motorhome, military, and off-highway applications.

Currently, most of our production is located in Indianapolis, Indiana. We also have assembly operations in Brazil and Hungary.

All components of our transmissions are purchased, either 1) Finished, 2) Semi-Finished, or 3) Raw. Annually, we buy about $300M of material for transmission assembly, and another $150M for general plant operations.
