Every competitor in the U.S. Department of Defense's recent search for a vehicle to successfully support our warfighters in the mountainous theater of Afghanistan - dubbed the MRAP All-Terrain Vehicle (M-ATV) - has selected Allison Transmission products.
Our tracked vehicle transmissions are found in the Army's long-running M113 program and the U.S. military's main battle tank, the Abrams. Allison Transmission was selected to develop the transmission for the U.S. Marine Corps' Expeditionary Fighting Vehicle, a significant program in support of the Marine Corps' expeditionary and amphibious operations.
